It finally happened. After 6 long months of building this darn house, we are finally living in it. I have to say-I love the peace and privacy.
We've moved out of the city and into a very rural area. We still aren't very far from Houston which makes it nice when I get cabin fever.
I look out every morning to see beautiful horses and trees, instead of someone's fence or house. I can go outside and sing as loud as I want and noone will complain. Not that I do it that often, mind you.
I do miss that there are really no people out here though.. It's kinda cool-but you can't just walk next door to say hi. You actually would have to drive to speak to the neighbors. The small town is nice though.
